Personal Trainer Sessions

Individual Personal Trainer sessions usually last an hour and cover cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and flexibility, tailored to your needs and wants. You can schedule these sessions as often as you feel you need to, and you can share a session (and the cost) with a friend or relative if you prefer. With a client base aged from 18 to 80, we can help you get fitter at any stage of life.

We offer nutrition and weight management advice and guidance as part of the Personal Trainer service; this includes detailed meal planning if you need it, and advice on making an enjoyable healthy balanced diet part of your life.

Fitness Walking Sessions

If you want to take part in a structured, fitness-related activity, try Fitness Walking.

These sessions are for up to eight people at a time; we keep the groups small so that we can give each member plenty of attention. We give general advice on nutrition and weight management as part of this service, and can also offer individual nutrition sessions at reduced rates to walking group members.

We can combine some of these sessions with social activities, such as going out for lunch or afternoon tea, or even shopping trips. How about a canalside walk to the mailbox, for example?

Nutrition and Weight Management

We also offer a ‘nutrition-only’ service for people who are already in the exercise habit but would like some guidance about what to eat.

Or maybe you aren’t yet interested in formal exercise but would like to eat more healthily. Eating well does not produce fitness by itself, but it does help to keep you in better health.

We can help you manage your weight through eating a healthy balanced diet, if that’s what you want, and we will encourage you to become more active in your daily life because that’s an important part of the ‘calories in, calories out’ equation.

Seasonal Sessions

We all have different fitness requirements at different times of the year. That’s why we provide a variety of seasonal programmes, like Snow Fit and Christmas Cracker in the Autumn, New Year Solutions in January and February and Beach God (and Beach Goddess) from Spring through Summer - that’s right now!

Crow Dillon-Parkin (our principle personal trainer) is a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and full member of the government-backed Register of Exercise Professionals. She is also a tutor for YMCA Fitness Industry Training, teaching people to become gym instructors and personal trainers.
We will never employ anyone who is not fully qualified, registered and insured.
